Crafty afternoon

Well to distract myself while my baby was at her first playgroup session I indulged in a craft session. I had another play with my Funky Hand paper blossom papers and made a couple more cards.

I used paper blossom papers, buttons, large bloom, ribbon, Heidi Grace rub ons and paper blossom alphabet to make the word "friends"

For this one I also used paper blossom papers and alphabet. Again I used buttons, glitter glue and a swirl stamp.

My time to craft challenge 9 - in stitches

This weeks challenge is to create a project with stitches (either real or faux) on it. I made some more little tiles using boys papers from Funky Fairy's Papercrafts. The papers are faux stitched together to make a mini patchwork. I have also done a fake running stitch around the outside of the card. The sentiment is woodware stamps and it is Anita's sticky ribbon.

Girly card/My Time To Craft Challenge

This was my last make of the day and it fits in nicely with the My Time To Craft Challenge which is "Tickled Pink". Hot pink card blank embossed with the cuttlebug friends folder. I also ran over the raised bit with a white ink pad. I stamped Lola image onto white card and watercoloured her in. I 3d foam mounted her on to the card, then made a flower with pink ribbon and attached with a pearl brad. Finally I edged the entire card in black. I do so like making girly cards :-)

DCM challenge

I managed to do the DCM challenge today which is
"
Well I thought we have had plenty of flowers and hearts and girly things so I would like some cards with some teen spirit please."
So I made a square card with some hot pink cardstock, placed a strip of DCWV rockstar paper down the left side, doodled a checked strip, drew round a large grungeboard skull onto some DCWV rockstar paper and doodled round the edged of it, die cut letters to make up the words "teen rebel", added pearl brad eyes and finally added a few ribbons.

Only problem is.....who the devil do I give a card like this to?? Anyhow I do kinda like the way it turned out :-)
