Funky fairy challenge 15

This weeks challenge was very hard for me cos I find boys stuff sooooo tricky!! Fellow DT member Lulu set the challenge this week and it was boy/men cards. She sent each member of the DT some male embillishments and wanted us to use some of them on our creations. I chose a cute little pirate stamped image (as did several other members of the team!).

I used an A6 blue card and created a large scalloped edge down the side which I doodled on. I used paper from the new boy range at Funky Fairy's Papercrafts for the backing, then cut a skull & crossbones out of a different design from the same range. I stuck it on black card (flag) and doodled round the outside with white pen. I drew an eye patch on the skull. The pirate was coloured with watercolour pencils. I used a thin strip of black card for the flagpole and drew a crows nest to put the pirate in. A stamped greeting and a grungeboard arrow finish the card off. You can't tell from this photo but the pirate and flag stick out a bit.
