I decided to have a go at this weeks DCM challenge which was to create a card using only the colours red and white. Blimey it was really difficult as I don't seem to have any purely red & white papers!
I used a tall thin red card blank and mounted a white rectangle on it. I embossed some red card with my cuttlebug using a happy birthday embossing folder. I rubbed a white inkpad over the raised embossed area, then adhered it to the front of the card. I took a small length of red ribbon and attached it to the card with white flower eyelets. Next I drew some flowers (1 big 1 small) using a red marvy le plume pen, then cut them out. I attached them with small white (black spots) brads using some red ribbon under the big flower. So I failed to use only red and white as I couldn't find any red or purely white brads. Obviously I need to go shopping for some red/white stuff - I can't believe I had to draw flowers!!!
