Sugar Nellie - Maggie card

Two Sugar Nellie stamps arrived yesterday - YAY!! SO been playing today!!I really like this card. I used my Heidi Grace paper which are soooo lush, they have flocking on some of them. I stamped Maggie onto plain white cardstock and painted her with my marvy le plume pens. I actually chose the papers first and painted Maffie to match them. I had to mix colours to get the right tones. Rather than 1 balloon I have her holding 3. Hope she doesn't float off!! I cut her out and mounted her on some decorative paper using 3d foam. I then mounted this on white card just so it stood out from the background papers. I stuck a length of satin ribbon down the left side and a lilac bloom bottom left with a lilac brad in the centre. A birthday greeting rub on in the top right corner finishes the card off. This is another of my fave cards at the moment! Not often I like my stuff! LOL!

This close up is an attempt to show the flocking on the papers!
