A rare craft day

I have this week off work but Abbi is at school and Madeleine is at the childminders on Mondays and Wednesdays so today is a very rare craft day for me. I decided to carry on with the wedding scrapbook and have made 3 more pages so far......

For the 1st page I used a wedding background paper. I used photos of my brother and his wife from childhood to adulthood. I made a tag and holder to place on the page. They met at a tall persons club ball (Gill is 6ft and Michael is 6ft 6! so I printed off the club logo and wrote some stuff on the tag. I stamped a heart on the tag holder (paperartsy) and doodles the edges. I also stamped a love house directly on to the page and painted parts with pearlescent paint. I added sheer ribbons to the tag.

Next page uses a gorgeous copper coloured card teamed with torn matching paper in dark green. I stuck the wedding invitation that I had kept directly onto the backing paper. I stuck a cloud 9 marriage sticker in the bottom right of the page. Next I cut out a heart from beige cardstock. I covered it in ribbon then wrapped cord round it and stuck it to the top right of the page. Lastly I wrote the date of the wedding and also the words set the date using gold krylon.

This is my fave page so far "The Best Man" Probably because it is primarily black & white! I mounted the photos on black cardstock. Next I used the computer to print out a huge "T" and large "OM". I cut the "T" out with a craft knife and mounted the "OM" into black card. When stuck on the page they made the best man's name. I printed out some best man info and mounted them onto card. I also typed Best Man out several times and turned it into a circle of text. Once printed out I doodles on it then cut it out and stuck on the page. Lastly a piece of vellum saying "the best man" was attached with a brad.
